Drawing Discipline: Opening Night

About This Project

Drawing Discipline began as a 28 day program developed by graphic designer, artist and educator, Nicola Hardy. Over a 28 day period she embarked on a voyage of experimental drawing. The project grew and when the 28 days ended she found that her creative output was unstoppable! Come along for the ride by following her progress and perhaps following in her footsteps by creating your own artistic output according to the daily tasks.

BUT I DON'T DRAW!! - It's ok you can substitute the word 'draw' with sculpt, paint, create music, write, take a photo, make a movie, dance, sing etc - use your own artform and see what happens.

TO START: Find a part of the blog that interests you and follow the instructions. Everything is intended to be a starting point for something else. Be open to changes in direction as your project evolves.

Nicola likes to initiate and participate in collaborative projects and loves to inspire others to create. She is available for freelance illustration and design projects, so if you would like to throw some concepts around - email me . (Do it soon she needs the cash).

Drawing Discipline originally began as part of a residency program at Vorwerkstift Kunstlerhaus in Hamburg, Germany.
